# How do I transfer the ownership of a domain to another person?

To change the ownership and/or contact information on a domain to another person, follow the instructions below:

1. Type a quick letter stating your desire to transfer the domain to another party. Make sure to include your complete contact info and the complete contact info of the new owner.  
2. Make a copy of your driver's license so we can authenticate you  
3. Fax both to 916-307-5023

A representative will review your request and call you if we have any questions. The domain will be updated within 24-48 hours
