# Setup Email on an iPhone

2. **Open Settings: **On your iPhone, open the 'Settings' app.

3. **Navigate to Mail**: Scroll down and select 'Mail'.

4. **Access Accounts:** In the Mail settings, find and tap on 'Accounts'.

5. **Add Account:** Choose 'Add Account' and then select 'Other' from the list of options.

6. **Mail Account Details:**

* Tap on 'Add Mail Account'.
* Enter your first and last name.
* Type in the email address you wish to set up (for example, a test account).

7. **Enter Password:** Input the password for your email account.

8. **Host Settings:**

* Under 'Host Settings', enter the mail server information provided by the support team.
* For 'Username', re-enter your email address.
* The 'Password' should auto-populate.

9. **Outgoing Mail Server:**

* Input the same information as the incoming mail server for the outgoing mail server.
* The 'Username' and 'Password' fields under the outgoing mail server, although marked as optional, are required. Enter the same details as above.

10. **Save Settings:** Check for typos or errors, then press 'Next'. The system will configure the account as an IMAP account.

11. **IMAP and POP Configuration:** Use IMAP for your iPhone and POP for your computer. IMAP stores email on the server, while POP removes email from the server.

12. **Finalize Setup:** After ensuring all settings are correct and everything is verified, click 'Save'. This completes the account setup.
